During a record cold winter, pipes within the chapel burst leaving the sacristy and sanctuary flooded. After pushing through the Spring semester with no water in the chapel portion of the building, the pipes were fixed and water restored this summer. We’re also getting new carpet. That replacement is well on its way.

Dr. Vincent Harding, a teacher, activist, prophet, and preacher entered eternal rest on May 19, 2014. The New York Times obituary is here. You can read Lucas Johnson’s moving tribute about Uncle Vincent here. There will be a memorial service in Atlanta for Dr. Harding, and the details are forth coming.
